Cornell Cisco Anyconnect



Cisco AnyConnect. Available to WCM faculty, staff, and students. Able to use your device to access the following resources while connected: Citrix; Intranet and HR websites; Weill Business Gateway (WBG) Weill Research Gateway (WRG) Network Printing; Jenzabar Services; Any On-Campus Applications; Departmental File shares; File Transfer. A dialog box will appear with the heading Cisco AnyConnect cuvpn.cuvpn.cornell.edu. Use the following options to connect (select OK when all fields have been entered): Group = Select Two-StepLogin from the drop down menu.

Cornell Cisco Anyconnect

Install the Cisco AnyConnect software to connect to Cornell's VPN service. You must have administrative privileges to install the software.

You must have administrative privileges to install the CU VPN software on your computer.

Enter the following:

Cornell Remote Access

  1. Connect to https://cuvpn.cuvpn.cornell.edu. The SSL VPN Service Login dialog box will open.
  2. Enter the following:
    • Group: Leave this set to CornellVPN
      (even if you will be using a departmental VPN after installing AnyConnect).

    • User Name: Enter your Cornell NetID.

    • Password: Enter your Cornell NetID password.

  3. Click Login. A Downloads page will appear after a successful login. It may take a few seconds to a few minutes to collect information about your system.
  4. If you see two tabs labeled Download and Automatic Provisioning, select . (It's okay if you don't see these tabs.)
  5. Click .
  6. The file should be saved in the default download folder. Locate the file named
    anyconnect-win-<version number>-core-vpn-webdeploy-k9.msi
    then double-click to open it.
  7. Click Run. You may be asked to enter an administrative password for your computer.
  8. Follow the instructions on screen.
